Lake Daylesford Lodge: Visual Identity

Lake Daylesford Lodge is a newly built luxury apartment complex.
Brief:
To create an identity, print promotion and website for LakeDaylesford Lodge.


The Identity and promotion needed to reflect LDL positioning in the luxury end of the accommodation market and make much of its location on the shores of Lake Daylesford.


 

The website needed to work as an information and direct sales tool to increase online bookings and therefore profit through bed nights. In consultation with the client we resolved what the users needed from the online experience; an aspirational site, key information easily accessed and a simple booking method which was already provided for though an existing booking agency. Website optimization was also instigated to increase LDL ranking on the competitive accommodation market in Daylesford.

Outcome:
The water swirl describes the lake location of the lodge, the ‘swirls’ soft application works in with the unique architecture of the lodge.
The website is providing the right mix of mood and information. In consultation with the client and other accommodation agencies in the area who knew the market well it was decided due to amount of choice and client expectation that a site using aspirational and informative photographs was required to tell the story of the Lodge in a visual way. The site is easy to maintain and functional in its ability to easily navigate the range of villas on offer within the Lodge.
