Brief:
To design and layout a series of resource books for University of Ballarat targeted at University Staff. The books need to appeal to staff and help when negotiating various working conditions.

Flexible Work Arrangements Toolkit
The Flexible Work Arrangements Toolkit is the second in a series of resources designed to assist the staff of UB when negotiating employment arrangements. The guide needed to speak to all members of staff; everyone from maintenance to technical and management. Creating imagery that resonates with a broad range of people and personal situations was the key. We also worked with the marketing department to ensure the toolkit fits with current university styles guides.

Maternity Leave Toolkit
Our first Toolkit for UB; the Maternity Leave Toolkit needed to clearly explain the work options for staff members who are expecting a child. We needed to find imagery for the cover that had a good blend of personal and professional elements so that everyone could relate to them. Again we worked closely with the university style guide to ensure compliance.

Maternity Leave Intranet Site
UB required an intranet site for the Maternity Leave Toolkit, so that staff could also locate the resource online. This we designed in cooperation with the in house technical team.
