Solutions for education providers
In a highly competitive marketplace, how do you stay in front and outshine other universities, schools, colleges, and even other departments?

Design for education providers has its own special requirements. Often it has to appeal to a wide age group: hip and compelling to young students, but still enticing to a more conservative demographic like their parents. Educational design also needs to conform to strict style guidelines, which may be flexible, but more often than not is controlled by tight in-house specifications. More recently university websites also require WC3 compliancy to ensure they are more accessible to people with disabilities.

Education demands a complex set of design solutions, and that means a studio that is experienced and confident working in this sector. Designscope is used to working with style guides, liaising with marketing departments, listening to your needs and producing top quality work – every time.

To create a series of Toolkits for UB staff that concurs with the current university style. The Toolkits need to appeal to a broad range of stakeholders and have the right blend of personal and professional elements.

Brief:
To create a new visual identity for an ACU research flagship. We worked closely with ACU marketing to implement their new style guide, creating a dynamic image for QUALFLAG.

Inspiration:
We worked with the notion of humanity: helping less fortunate people in times of hardship.

Outcome:
The result is a joyful logo - two figures holding hands look as though they are dancing or helping each other out. The result is a strong visual image we applied to various situations ...more
